Transforming Influence in Modern Real Estate: Stephanie Shojaee and Shoma

Influence has always been a contested currency in business. For some, it is measured in scale and visibility; for others, in the quiet ability to move entire markets without raising a voice. In modern real-estate, the difference between noise and authority depends on who can sustain vision once the spotlight fades. The most enduring leaders understand that power is not performed; it is built, layered over time, until perception catches up to intent. This evolution is apparent in the leadership of Stephanie Shojaee, president of Shoma Group. Her approach reflects a new model of influence strategic, aesthetic, and disciplined defined not by the pursuit of recognition but by the mastery of timing. Under her direction, Shoma has matured from a Florida institution known for its engineering precision into a name synonymous with modern precision and global aspiration. Shoma remains anchored by the principles established by Founder Masoud Shojaee but under her presidency those values have been reframed for a global audience. The company’s expansion into the United Arab Emirates marks not just a geographic milestone but a cultural one, bridging the sensibilities of two cities, Miami and Dubai, that thrive on ambition and design.

Stephanie Shojaee Latina Power at it's finest

What keeps me going today is knowing that every project we develop has the power to uplift a community, generate opportunities, and open doors, especially for other women and Latinas looking to break into this field. The truth is, I don’t get inspired by easy wins—I get inspired by proving people wrong, turning criticism into strategy.

Stephanie Shojaee’s business track record is robust, disciplined, and well-earned. The $650M in closed deals tells a different story than the tabloids: one of execution, foresight, and an evolving development philosophy. One that doesn’t just build for now, but builds with the exit in mind.

How Stephanie Shojaee Helped Engineer $650M in Real Estate Exits While Elevating the Shoma Group Legacy

In today’s real estate capital markets, the narrative is shifting. Liquidity is tightening. Interest rates are stubborn. Institutional buyers are growing more selective. Amid these conditions, developers who once thrived on velocity and hype are suddenly facing a harder truth: stability is the new alpha. This is the environment where real value rises to the top and where operators, not just builders, are setting the pace. While many firms recalibrate, one has already proven its formula works: Shoma Group, a private South Florida real estate firm with over $650 million in asset sales over the last seven years. However the story isn’t just about the number. It’s about how they got there and who led the charge.

Stephanie Shojaee of Shoma Group and Real Housewives of Miami Is Quietly Rewriting the Rules of Luxury Real Estate and Lifestyle in Miami

Miami has always been a city of outsized ambition—where architectural statements compete with personal brands, and where real estate development is as much a cultural performance as it is an economic engine. It’s a market driven not only by location and luxury, but by vision: who has it, who can sell it, and who can shape what comes next. In this ecosystem, the most influential players are no longer just builders or brokers—they are curators of lifestyle, image, and capital alignment. Today, few figures are bridging this gap as seamlessly as Stephanie Shojaee. As President of Shoma Group (alongside her husband Masoud Shojaee, CEO and Founder), one of South Florida’s most respected real estate development firms, Shojaee is not simply navigating the high-stakes terrain of Miami’s property market—she’s helping shape it.

Stephanie Shojaee Is Shaping the Role of a Multi-Hyphenate Leader and Real Estate in Miami

The era of the one-dimensional executive is over. Today’s most influential figures are more than CEOs—they’re cultural connectors, brand architects, and public forces in their own right. They move between industries, platforms, and personas with fluency. At the forefront of this new leadership class is Stephanie Shojaee, whose role at the helm of Shoma Group is only one part of a broader story about ambition, reinvention, and modern influence.

Transforming Miami from the Ground Up: How Shoma Village and Shoma Bay Reflect the City’s Real Estate Evolution with Stephanie Shojaee of Shoma Group

Miami’s real estate market has never been static. Over the past decade, however, it has entered a new era of reinvention. A market once defined by ultra-luxury condos in South Beach and single-family estates in Coral Gables has now expanded into a melange of multifamily developments, emerging neighborhoods, and lifestyle-driven communities. As both population growth and investor appetite accelerate, developers are rethinking where and how they build. To that point, few projects capture this shift more clearly than Shoma Village and Shoma Bay.

Who is Stephanie Shojaee?

Beyond real estate, Shojaee has built a presence in the media and business world through various endeavors, including a role on The Real Housewives of Miami. Her participation in the show reflects a broader cultural shift in how business leaders engage with the media and public. When she joined The Real Housewives of Miami, it wasn’t for validation—it was because she could. She joined because women can do it all, because leading a company, building a brand, and still making time for friendships, fun, and new experiences isn’t a contradiction—it’s proof of what’s possible. “I wanted to show that women can do anything if we put our minds to it,” she says. “But beyond that, I also wanted to show that businesswomen come in all different forms. You don’t have to fit into one box to be successful. You can be powerful and polished, strong and stylish, direct and dynamic. I have many layers, and I’m unapologetically myself in every single one of them.”
